Christmas Morning

Christmas morning! Of course it is my favorite day of the year! All the traditions surrounding the season give my heart a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, or maybe that’s the pineapple martini my mom made me taste test. Either way, it’s one of the best feelings, the feeling of giving. Ever since I was little, it was more fun to give then to receive, and with that being said, presentation is key! I like my gift wrapping to look just as enticing as what may be inside.

Simplicity sometimes is your best route. Take a patterned busy paper like the damask red and white I chose from this years selection at Hobby Lobby, and finish it off with something as simple and rustic like thin rope, or jute.

It didn’t hurt to find these cute red heart embellishments on the sale rack either :)
