The 2011 Bloomington Bridal Show was absolutely awesome! I had such a great time meeting excited Brides and their families, as well as all the other wonderful vendors who were there! Our booth was so much fun to create and I hope everyone enjoyed all of our ideas. We rented our beautiful linens from my favorite linen supplier- Creative Coverings, they were the talk of the booth! We also worked with Peppertree Floral to help design our fresh flower displays. For the carnation ‘balls’ we took fresh ivory carnations, clipped them off of their stems and simply hot glued them on to the Styrofoam. (We did this the night before, and then placed them in the fridge, they lasted several days!) Beside our Carnations was and exclusive Ashley Weddings Cake and a “Wishing Tree”, which is a creative alternative to a guest book. Have your guest’s write a ‘wish’ or a ‘happy thought’ for the bride and groom and place it on the tree. Then throughout the reception people can read the ‘wishes’ and the bride and groom can keep them in a beautiful keepsake box in their home! Our hand tied vintage bouquet was made of White and Black Anemone’s, White Lisianthus, and other beautiful flowers tied with lace and satin ribbon. Our printed items (Menu’s, Table Number, etc…) were created by going onto the WeddingChicks.com blog (one of our favsJ) and using their free personalized logo’s. We handed out freshly made French Macaroons to our visitors and had an overall amazing time. I can’t wait until next year!
Love, Morgan
